On a cold and snowy night in the fall of -72 David Ny greeted Västerås with his presents.
Fifteen years later the wonderful sport of snowboarding took a firm grip of his heart. As a competitor he won respect among other riders and earned quotes like "world class tweeker", before he found the reason why he was placed on this earth.

Some couple of years later, the reputation of well shaped pipes in Tandådalen reach far beyond the borders of Sweden. A new walk of life was invented, and as the first professional pipe builder David helped push the boundaries of the riders to the maximum.

As course-designer at the King of the Hill in Riksgränsen 1996 he made Ingemar Backmans humongous flight halfway to heaven possible. Since then he's been responsible of some 50 events, including WC half pipes, The Arctic Challenge and as halfpipe- and SBX-course builder in Torino 2006 Olympics.
